Magnesium- if you have a low magnesium intake, try taking one magnesium (on full stomach) to increase intake and reduce anxiety. Rescue remedy- liquid melts, sweet, ect. relieve of anxiety quickly. Can be addictive, try not to taking daily. Passion Flower- for those who don't experience much daily anxiety. Don't take while on medication or any other herbal supplement. Kava- improves GABA levels, Medical experts strongly advise avoiding any other type of herbal supplement or medicine while taking kava.
Coping with Anxiety
Deep slow breathing- Deep diaphragmatic breathing can encourage a relaxation response, triggering a more calm mood. Do something you enjoy- Taking part in an enjoyable activity helps to soothe your anxiety. Write it down- It is a way of getting the issue off your chest. Get active- 30 to 60 minute physical activities, eg. walking and cycling, realises endorphins in the body that lead to a reduction in anxiety. Avoid drugs and alcohol- as they can have a very negative outcome on your mind and worsens anxiety. Sleep well- Not getting enough sleep can trigger anxiety. If having trouble sleeping, try a relaxing activity before going to bed. Stay Connected- Always make time to speak and connect with friends and family. Have an encouraging statement- Saying and repeating positive sayings can help put things into perspective. Contact a therapist- It's not something to be ashamed of.

Most common in adults. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder- disorder that comes after the traumatic event that has occurred. Specific Phobias- intense feelings of fear because of objects scenarios, animals, ect.
