This mobile application has been designed by myself (Pamela Jain) in order to help anyone who travels to India. We want to make your journey "eazy". There are guides on here from the beginning to end tell you the who, how, what, when etc should be done. I have designed this application on my own personal experience and feel that the problems that I have encountered I am pretty sure other people would have had the same problems. So hence please go ahead try the application. It is free to use. Enjoy.
Hello. My name is Pamela Jain. I was born and bought up in London. My parents are from India. Whenever I used to go to India as child I always use to find it hard and encountered problems. The traditions and different cultures. The main problem I faced was how to get around in India, dealing with different cultures and traditions. So after thinking about it I thought why not design an app that can help others. This app will help anyone travel within India. it is basically an "idiots" guide. There will also be a newsletter which you can subscribe to. The app is free to download.

Introduction about India
Welcome to EazyIndia everyone. Here together we will go on an adventure and explore wonderful and incredible India. Travelling to India can be exciting but also a daunting experience if you haven’t been there before. India is a country full of surprises so be ready guys to face anything that India throws at you. A country that comes with anything happening at any time. A country that is full of laughter. A country that is full of love and tradition. It is our country - as the saying goes in Hindi “Mera Bharat Mahan” - My India is great. Now you must be thinking why this app is any different than any other information site about India. I have based this on my personal experience of India through my eyes. Things that I have found tough - things that I have found difficult to understand. So please no offence to be taken in any way - I have not mimic any form of religion or culture in any way. Before you decide you want to go to India you need to sort out three points:1: Flights2: Visa3: CurrencyBefore we discuss the above 3 points let me tell you something about India. India is vast in size which means there are numerous weather patterns. Below there is general guideline when to visit. (Kindly note this guideline is based on North India facts)December-January Potential Fog/Cold February-March. Temp is rising 25c or aboveApril-June Very high humid weatherJuly-August Monsoon seasonSept-November Pleasant weather 30cRight going back to the above 3 points: There are a number of flights that operate daily from UK major airports: Birmingham, Manchester and London Heathrow. These are direct and indirect flights. Direct flights can take up to 8 hrs approx from London Heathrow. Cost of the flight can range from £400 - £800 economy depending on the season you travel. Usually the luggage allowance is very generous 46kg this is 2 suitcases 23kg each. Indian people do not travel light at all !!!!!!!!!!!!!! We just don’t believe in it…..!!!!!Now moving onto the visa.. This is a requirement if you do not hold an Indian passport. There are 3 ways to apply for one:(A) You can ask your travel agent to apply one for you (there will be a charge for the visa and your travel agent may also charge a fee)(B) You can go to the high commission in London - but be prepared to spend the whole day there as I mentioned earlier be prepared for some surprises along the way!!!!!!!! With this you have to submit a form with your passport and allow 2 working days and then go and pick up the passport so infact you will need 2 full days - and make sure you take a good book with you as you will need it!!!!!!!!!!!(C). If you an a computer person then you can also apply for an e-visa which means you apply for it online and it will be issued to you once you arrive in India.Final point is currency (which we cannot do without!!!!) - the currency is called the Indian rupee. At the time of publishing the current exchange rate was 93 rupees = £1.00 (GBP)Now even though the currency is prohibited and it cannot be taken out of India - it is vital that as a traveller you need to carry some currency with you or you will be in problems once you land in India….trust me on this one…….if you depend on the foreign bureaus in Delhi - sometimes they are not even open at 11am. Another point with Indians we never have any change !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!…so always carry some loose change with you…….this is a must!!!!! Credit cards are accepted widely in India but personally I would recommend cash - simple easy cash. - [ ] So right guys we have booked our flight, got our visa and the currency…so here we come India………………..Below is the image of the Indian flag -this comprises of 3 colours: Saffron, White and Green. Saffron indicates the strength and courage of the countryWhite indicates peace and truth with Dharma ChakraGreen shows the fertility, growth and auspiciousness of the land.
