Welcome to Grover Advising! My name is Dempsey Grover, and I created this app as a resource for student-athletes who need advising specific to the obstacles that they face. My educational path has included being in private schools, charter schools, as well as state and city regulated public schools. I also attended Modesto Junior College while completing my Diploma at Beyer High School in Modesto, CA. Taking Junior College courses while still in High school allowed me to go into college with almost a full year of units. I attended UC Santa Barbara where I got my bachelors in Political Science. I then went on to get my Masters in Learning Technology from Pepperdine University. Early on I knew college would be something I wanted to do and I was able to use sports as a way to get me there. Baseball granted me acceptance into two elite academic schools that I would otherwise have been denied. Athletics provided me with incredible schooling opportunities as well as a chance to play on a USA National Team, competing in Two NCAA Regionals, One Super Regional, and a College World Series in Omaha.
About Me : Dempsey Grover
