Top 3 books about WW2Anne Franks DiaryAnne Frank was a little girl whom which lived in the World War 2. The book is basically a Modern English re-write of her diary which she kept for two years while she and her family were hiding. This book is very famous because it tells us what happened in WW2 and is also an autobiography.Number The StarsThis is a fantastic book about a Jewish family escaping from Copenhagen in World War 2. Later on in the book the main character Ellen goes to stay with a different family and pretends to be part of them...When Hitler Stole Pink RabbitThe main character is Anna and Alana is her friend in the beginning of the book. We get to know Alana when she and Anna come home from school on a snowy day. Anna’s father suddenly has fallen ill but then he becomes better since a man comes and makes him better (a doctor). He then travelled to Germany for work. Anna’s father is famous for writing newspapers. Sometime then you get told that Max – Anna’s brother - and Gunther – Max’s friend - had found a emblem that the Nazis wear. They found it on the street. They had no idea what to do with it so they decided to flush it down the toilet. They threw it away because Max didn’t want it and if Gunther’s mum saw she would get mad at him and probably never let Gunther hang out with Max. Once her father has come back they go to a trip to do sightseeing all over the town. They go to restaurants and have lot’s of enjoyment. Anna was dizzy and had felt ill all throughout the day. It doesn’t surprise me that that night Anna falls ill. It’s an absorbing part of the book since she wakes up at one point and sees the doctor. She wakes up another time and hears him exclaim “109 degrees”. From this point onwards I don’t want to spoil the book!

One was written in 2015. There are 400 pages in this 12+ book. This book is a fiction story but this story could be two humans’ lives. Sarah Crossan has written: ‘Apple and Rain’, ‘Resist’, ‘Breathe’ to name a few.
One is a book about two 16-year-old conjoined / Siamese twins: Tippi and Grace. Their family doesn’t have lots of money. They’re father likes to drink (a lot)! Even though they are one body they have different personalities. This book also says a lot about bullying for example stuck on the girl’s locker there is a note saying, “Why don’t you go back to the zoo?” Since the family is poor the girls decide to have their lives filmed for money. When they get the chance to be separated what’ll happen?Week 4Wonder By Raquel J. Palacio
Wonder is 315 pages long and is a fiction story. I would recommend it for 8+ readers. Other books by Raquel J. Palacio are: Wonder Journal, Pluto, Shingaling: A Wonder Story and Auggie and me: 3 Wonder Stories to name a few. It was written in 2012 and costs £6 - £8 at waterstones it just depends on the sale like all the other books.
Wonder is a book about a boy called Auggie Pullman whom which was born with a rare facial birth defect and has had 27 operations. He has been homeschooled for most of his childhood until he has a chance to go to Beecher Prep for fifth grade. Auggie makes a friend called Summer during lunch when nobody would let Auggie sit with them since he was different. During the book he learns to cope with bully's. I find this quote 'ordinary kids don't make other ordinary kids run away screaming in playgrounds. Ordinary kids don't get stared at wherever they go' the most interesting and heart felt. Wonder is an inspiring and uplifting book.
